Where We’re Going
December 15th, 2017 we, Bruce and Laurie Heimbigner, took off from Pullman, Washington, U.S.A. on an 5+ year adventure of driving around the world in our four-wheel drive pop-up camper named Livingstone (pronounced “Livingstun”).
What We’re Driving
Livingstone is a custom built pop-up camper that Bruce designed to allow us to live “off the grid” for a minimum of 3 weeks at a time with access to water being our limiting factor. The entire rig is designed to fit into a cargo container for shipping overseas.
What We’ll Be Doing
As we travel we plan on going to “off the beaten track” locations and meeting as many peoples in remote regions of the globe as possible. Along the way Laurie will be working on collecting interviews for “The Livingstone Project”.
“Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures.” Lovell Drachman
We would love to have you join us in our adventures. You can do this by following “Our Journal” and/or by letting us know if you have suggestions for sights to see, festivals to experience, or people we should meet as we travel to various places. We’d also love to meet up with friends, old or new, wherever you can join us on our journey.
